Rates & Insurance
One of the first questions people ask when starting therapy is, "How does payment work?"
The answer depends on what feels like the best fit for you.
I believe that quality mental health care should be transparent, so below you'll find information about my fees, insurance, and private-pay options. If you're still unsure, I'm happy to answer questions before your first appointment.
Private Pay
50-minute therapy session: $160
Many clients choose to pay out of pocket because it offers the greatest flexibility and privacy throughout the therapy process.
With private pay:
Your diagnosis and treatment information are not shared with an insurance company.
We can focus on your goals instead of insurance requirements.
You have greater flexibility in how often we meet and how long we continue working together.
Therapy can be tailored to your unique needs rather than what an insurance plan determines is "medically necessary."
For many people, private pay allows therapy to be exactly what they need it to be—a collaborative space for healing, growth, and self-understanding.
Insurance
I am in network with the following plans:
Aetna
Cigna
BCBS of Texas
United Healthcare
Oscar
Oxford
Carelon Behavioral Health
Quest Behavioral Health
Using insurance can make therapy more financially accessible, and for many clients it is an excellent option.
It's helpful to know that insurance companies generally require therapists to provide a mental health diagnosis and documentation showing that treatment is medically necessary. They may also determine what services are covered, how often sessions can occur, or when treatment should end.

Out-of-Network Benefits
If I am not in-network with your insurance plan, you may still be able to receive reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits.
Upon request, I can provide a superbill that you can submit directly to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Coverage varies by plan, so I recommend contacting your insurance company to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
Some helpful questions include:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
What is my deductible?
How much will I be reimbursed per session?
Is preauthorization required?
Are virtual therapy sessions covered?
