Queer-affirming Therapy
Therapy Where You Don't Have to Explain Yourself
Living authentically shouldn't be exhausting.
Yet many LGBTQ+ people grow up learning to monitor themselves, minimize themselves, or question whether they're "too much."
Maybe you've spent years navigating family expectations.
Maybe you're questioning your identity.
Maybe you're processing religious trauma, coming out, relationship challenges, discrimination, or simply trying to exist in spaces that weren't built with you in mind.
You deserve therapy where your identity isn't something that needs to be defended or explained.
Therapy That Affirms All of You
Our session is a place where your identity is celebrated—not tolerated.
Together we'll explore:
anxiety
depression
identity exploration
coming out
relationships
family conflict
boundaries
perfectionism
minority stress
self-worth
trauma
You don't need to educate me before we can begin healing.
My Philosophy
I believe many of our struggles make sense when viewed within the context of the world we live in.
Rather than asking "What's wrong with you?"
I often ask,
"What happened—and what messages have you been carrying?"
Together we'll decide which of those messages deserve to stay and which you're ready to leave behind.
My goal isn't simply helping you cope.
It's helping you build a life where you give yourself permission to fully be yourself.
