Sliding Scale

I hold a limited number of spaces on my caseload for sliding scale sessions through my collaboration with Open Path.

Open Path is a therapy collective which first requires a one time $65 registration fee to access myself and many other professional with sliding scale therapy slots.

Important Note: If you are insured, I highly recommend checking insurance benefits first. Often, your copay or coinsurance is more affordable that what I can offer on sliding scale.

Specialties

  • A glass jar filled with coins, with a small green plant growing out of the top, on a wooden surface.

Substance Use Treatment and Harm Reduction

Substance use affects many folks in our community, harming their health, mind, and relationships. The trick is that substances appear to allow us to cope with the difficulties that we all face in life - at least for a short while. Addressing the underlying issues, making plans for the future, and finding new coping skills are some of the keys to meeting your goals.

Informed by the full spectrum of substance use disorder treatment (from total abstinence to moderation), I aim to support your personal goals around addressing substance use and its impacts.

I have completed essential level training in Integrative Harm Reduction Psychotherapy through Dr. Andrew Tatarsky.

    Perinatal Mental Health

1 in 5 women (20%!) will experience a Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder (PMAD) during pregnancy or in the first year after delivery. As a perinatal mental health certified provider, I have training in treating these disorders and supporting you and your family through the wonderful and stressful time of bringing new life to this world.

The key to mental wellness during this time is seeking help early, and creating connections with others who understand the unique challenges of pregnancy and postpartum. I hope to be one of the many on your team.

  • Close-up of a rainbow pride flag overlapping a transgender pride flag, both made of fabric with visible creases and folds.

    LGBTQIA+ Affirming Therapy

In our community it is vital to find therapy that validates and celebrates queer identities. I strive to create a safe space where clients can explore their experiences without fear of judgment, helping to build resilience, self-acceptance, and emotional well-being. Whether your identity is the focal point of our work together or the backdrop, I am here to support you with my training and experience.

    Anxiety Disorders

Our brains are wonderfully creative organs. They are the reason we have been able to create the vast array of art around us. Unfortunately, for some of us, our brains don’t seem to have an “off” button when it comes to predicting the future or making us fearful. I utilize evidence based therapies (including CBT and DBT) to help quiet the busy brain and think more clearly.
